PM to Appoint FM as ASEAN Envoy to Myanmar

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has announced that he will appoint Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn as the envoy of the ASEAN Chair to coordinate with Myanmar. He has alsao revealed that Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation Cham Prasidh, will be appointed as an assistant to Prak Sokhon.

The Prime Minister says, "My message today is also a sharing to know in advance about the preparation to perform the role of chair of ASEAN, starting from my journey. I would like to confirm that mission! I will appoint His Excellency Prak Sokhon as a Missionary to chair ASEAN. In that, I also prepared a helper for His Excellency Prak Sokhon, His Excellency Cham Prasidh, who is one of the people who walked with me to negotiate until the end of this stage."
